School Of Sciences
The Faculty of Sciences is a cornerstone of university education, as its fields of study are among the first to have been included in higher education worldwide. In its departments, students have the opportunity to engage with the fundamental theories and scientific achievements that shaped the thoughts and works of some of humanity’s most distinguished minds. The Faculty of Sciences, based in Kavala, was founded at Democritus University of Thrace according to Article 5 of Law 5094/2024. It consists of three departments:
- Department of Informatics
- Department of Physics
- Department of Chemistry
